When someone calls planning to use the piano, I tell them how long ago it was tuned and offer to have it tuned for them, at their expense. I explain in very strong terms how important it is to record a piano that is in tune! After that, it's their call.

Piano tuners are strange people. All of them, each in his/her own way.
