Master clock: Hedd vs. Big Ben

Hi there,

Upgrading to a new HD system.

My convertors will be Aurora 16, Mytek DA 96 8 channel and a cransesong hedd.

I've been clocking my AD8000's and Mytek off the HEDD while using my current mix system and plan to use the HEDD as masterclock for the new system as well.

HAS ANYONE A/B'ed THE HEDD MASTER CLOCK AGAINST A BIG BEN as master clock.

I've heard apogee a/d 16's have the same clock as big ben and i like the sound of the hedd better than the apogees... so does it follow that the clock in the hedd is off a similar or better quality to the apogee big ben/ad16 clock.

so who knows about clocks, esp. the one in the hedd 196. and who knows how to set the alarm on this damn thing... i keep oversleeping. stupid clock.

thanks... but what i'm really wondering is with convertors of the quality of the HEDD, which obviously must have a good clock, is syncing off the Big Ben or te Antelope per your suggestions, going to make much of a difference?

Anyone?
