| Picture of Anamod ATS-1 rear please.. Hi! This is a question thats been posted before but I still dont think it' s clear. What does the back of the Anamod ATS-1 look like? I know its XLR's but can someone PLEASE post a little picture of it so I can see how they are placed and what options I have. Ive searched the net in and out with no result and emailed the company with no reply! And neither their website nor the pdf page about ATS-1 has a picture of it(?!?) Is it too much to ask for to see what a product that you spend almost 3 g´s on looks like?! So if someone doesnt post a picture of it or a link where you can see it Im just gonna assume that there is no rear of this darn thing. Just loose cables or a table to play tic tac toe on. |  Take a deep breath Ok, I'm no digital picure guy, but literally sitting here and looking at it as I write this (yes, I can walk behind me racks) On the left side is the power cable, standard inserted plug. On the right side, in a neatly squared of in white lines over the black metal is labeled "Channel 1" 1 inch from each other are "In" and "out" in XLR male and female, then going left to that in another outlined white lined box is label "Channel 2" with the same thing. They seem to use the best XLR connectors, are those Neutrick? (can't tell) Build feel is solid both front and back. Above both those is the Anamod logo and "Analogue Modeling" in white on the black metal the front is silver and the type is black silk-screened. It is VERY simple. JUST like my Studer A80, actually. Basic. In and out. Channle 1 & 2. If you tie you power lines, this goes down the left side, audio neatly on the right. Hope that helps. -andrews  |

| Voltage Hey can any owner of the anamod please tell me if it has a universal electric connection, (i.e. from 100-240 V 50/60 Hz) ???? Thanks!

| Hi, the manual says 120-240V but on the back of the unit theres a little sticker that says 230V so I guess every unit can be set either to 230 or 120 in the factory depending on where its gonna be shipped. If you buy it in europe i think theyre all set to 230V and vice versa in the US. But should you get a hold of one that doesnt suit what you have just buy a transformer that transforms from 120 to 230 or the other way around, theyre cheap like 20-30$ and work well, can be bought in regular electronic stores. Hope that helps. |

| I'm just curious what the headroom is....? does it become more saturated the harder you hit with signal ?... aren't transformers more forgiving when it comes to hot signal.... |

Transformers normally were used to convert balanced to unbalanced and vise versa. They were never intended to be a color device, that was a happy accident. The design of this unit is specifically for the tape sound, you don't need transformers for that, even though the tape machines that were modeled did have transformers in them....
