Lavry DA-10 Polarity?

I just finished a day of fixing polarity issues concerning my trident console (pin 3 hot). In the course of doing so, I noticed that the output of both of my lavry DA-10s seemed to have reversed polarity. I substituted another converter in its place, keeping everything else consistent, and the problem went away. I opened one lavry chassis and checked the manual to make sure the jumpers were proper, and they were. I ended up reversing the polarity of the cables connected to the xlr analog outs of both lavrys and then everything checked out.

I didn't have time to thoroughly test so I must have overlooked something. Anyone have an easy way to check theirs or noticed any problems? Thanks.

Yeah mine is inverted too (pin 3 hot). But there is a polarity switch on it that I just leave set to invert. No need for fancy cables.

Surprising manufacturing error though.

A bigger problem I'm having is that the thing has started conking out on me fairly regularly. There are these switching sounds that sound like hardware relays going off...about four or five clicks...and then the DA10 falls silent. These sounds are eminating acoustically from the hardware itself, not coming through the signal path. The only thing that can revive it is a power cycling. I have optical and coaxial S/PDIF hooked up, XLR outs, normal power connected. Thinking about sending this in for a looksee.
