old 3m two track master recorder

I have a old 3m 1/4"master recorder 2 track that came out of Electric lady , I bought it of one of there tecks back in the early 80's at Caprone's pro audio yard sale in Nedham Ma . That was one cool yard sale they use to have.
It has been sitting for about 10 years unused.
I am not shure the model but it is tha same one ( the very same one) used in the Hendrox vidio were the tape spools itself on to the deck.
Is the deck worth fixing up to use a my main mix down deck or should Il and buy a diffrent deck.
I can be converted to 1/2 inch or 4 track.
Any one use one?

I know the 3M guru if you'd like to talk to him about it. They are really great sounding machines.

If it's a early model it is fully descrete.
