Seems to me that the realms of "great" monitors and "great" converters are pretty far apart in the audio manufacturing world. Most companies I can think of that make both of these (mackie, behringer, samson, roland, etal) I don't think can qualify as "great".

Mabey if two companies worked together like Apogee and Dynaudio or RME and ADAM this could prove to be a cool concept.

This idea also seems pretty limited to people who are mixing ITB which might limit the market share, especially if they were spendy.

My .02 cents for the day!

Keep 'em seperated. The guys who know how to make stellar speakers don't know how to make converters, and vice versa. Anyone putting the two together is going to do it on the cheap, and compromise everything.

All-your-eggs-in-one-basket solutions are dangerous and expensive when things go wrong. I don't even like active monitors, let alone digital monitors.
