15K -- Help Me Stock My Studio

I have just completed construction of a 1000 sq. foot studio above my garage. I have all of the instruments and amp that I need, but I don't have:

Preamps -- at least one good one
Control Surface -- digital, preferably w/ decent built-in preamps
Pro Tools HD -- a must
Mics -- vocal, drums, piano, guitar
Cords/Wires
Stands
Foam -- live room, sound room, vocal booth
Monitors -- looking at B&W 600s
Headphones

I DO have a Mac, and I DO have 15K to spend. Can anyone put together a realistic list of everything I need within the budget? Thanks in advance (and, if you're in the DC Metro area, I'd love to have you come by).

Get more than one pre amp! Get like 6! Get a 500 series API Lunchbox and stock it with some faves! That's a good start!

You can do better than foam, especially for bass traps.

type of music

This will be a private/commercial studio, so we could have many types of music being recorded, but it will be mostly rock/pop, MIDI (hip-hop and electronic), and Acoustic.

I am leaning towards the 3124 for preamp, and then the Digi 96 I/O...

Does this help?

P.S. I'm in Silver Spring (White Oak area).

Buy Used

Check the Classified section here and try to pick up a few pieces!
there are a pair of distressors for sale for 2600.00 i think. You might be able to get them a lil cheaper but they will be a great addition to any studio. there are usually some 500 series pre amp modules there as well.
