Vintage Sound Cards ?

My soundcards are going on 9 years old this year 24 bit at 41 /48 sample rates ,
When is a soundcard considered vintage ? I realize that computer gear is out dated by the time you get it home and plugged in these days

7-8 minutes after showing up at your studio or when the "next" model in the range is released... which ever comes first.

FWIW we always have our computer equipment shipped by overnight courier so that it will still be the current model when it arrives on our loading dock!!

It's not really "vintage" until you have it recapped with sprague "orange drops".

happy new year,
