What are the favourite preamps in movie scoring?

I just wonder what preamps are used to record moviescores? We always talk about the "popular" music production, but so less about moviesound, especially the scoring.
So what gadgets/pres are they using?

I can truly say we would not be in business without our Millennias.
Large scoring sessions are not a time to experiment and our clients know and trust Millennia.

In Hollywood it is not about fashion but it IS about status and good sound.

If you are truly a heavy closer you'll use the EAR 824M mic amps. YOu'l have many of them. It will take many weeks and months to recoup your money spent on these hott tube amps. They will not get you laid.

Pretenders to the top throne will array their Martech mic amps all in a row in shock mount cases. These are more likely to get you laid or at least some intimate attention.

Esoteric Hollywood snobsters in search of class will pile the Swiss FM Acoustics "ClassAmp" higher and higher. In the end, however, ya caint buy klass.

Avalon used to be featured but was abandoned after exhibiting limp dick syndrome.

Those not able to array the elite selection above usually resort to stuffing a salami in their tight pants and hoping for the best.

After all, this IS Hollywood---err, the Valley or. . .anywhere on the coast where CLASS is appreciated.

The EAR is so good you were selling it? I thought you were the major DAV advocate?

Our EAR mic amp is not for sale. (Well I would sell it for $ 4000.00) I sold other gear to reach our sales goal.

Yes, I am a huge advocate of the DAV Electronics Broadhurst Gardens range of mic amps. We have 20 channels of DAV.

By the way, my posting is from my observations at Sony, Todd AO and Fox scoring stages.
