Vintage Preamp schematics?

hi,

im doing a sound engineering course in birmingham. to enhance my knowledge of evertything(?) i want to build a good pre. has anyone got anygood schematics to give? email them to kewsland2@hotmail.com

Here's a spot I've seen, but be wary of intellectual property rights. If its a school project and not a commercial venture then I suppose thats fine.

Of course, some of the ones I've seen are in foreign languages, and include parts one cannot obtain anymore.

Thats quite a sound engineering course, at UAB I'm assuming...at my school one had to take a studio maintenance course to get into designing/constructing preamps.

Also, a good place to try for info on this as you go would be the GeekSlutz section, try to keep very technical inquiries there.

Go for someting with a transformer input, more money but are normally easier to get a good sound out of, this is subjective...
A Jensen 115 is a good transformer..
