SSL 4000G dimensions

Anyone have the dimensions for the SSL 4000 series (both board size and rack size)? I'm looking for any channel size from 48-64.

Any help with this would be appreciated, I can't find the dimensions on-line.

Thanks,

Jason

Jason , I'm not sure if there is an SSL office in Atlantis yet (well that's where you are from after all) but your best bet would be calling SSL direct I would think..especially if you are looking for different sizes etc.

OK. Are you ready?

Figure 13" for every bucket of 8 channels. The center section on an E is the same width as a single bucket (13"). The center section of a G is 1.5 times the width of a bucket (20").

A normal patch bay is also 1.5 times the normal width (if memory serves). It could be 2x the normal bucket.

The desks are basically 48" deep or so.

That should give you some idea.

Good luck,

I'm not sure exactly how many rack spaces it is but I do know the power supply for the board fit's in a rack about 5 &1/2 - 6 ft tall...and the rack for the 5 & 1/4" floppy is 4 rack spaces if it has one of those....

This is for the G board...

4000G+

Our 4056 G+ with Right Hand Patch bay is exactly 12'11" long. Almost 13 feet! It has caused us a bit of a headache figuring out how to get it into the room.

Uh...you also must have a Producer's Desk on the left hand side in addition to the patch bay on the right. Otherwise, your desk shouldn't be that long. Or am I missing something?

Yep, you are correct, Producer's desk on the left hand side.

The rack for an E Series is roughly 6.5 feet tall.
