| Has anyone tried this yet? I know this is a really good tool for creative sound design but I'd like to know what it's like for bread and butter compression duties. I have seen sites saying that it's shipping but I can't find it for sale anywhere. |

| Hiya I have heard it in action in a friend of mines studio. It is a very coloring piece of equipment, that give eg drums exceptional treatment, that is very hard to get with other gear that I have come in contact with. It reminds me mostly of my Valley People Dynamite, but the sound was much greater. It is probably not something you use in eg mastering, unless you like to spice up the mix with coloring. It is possible that if use is 'mildy' that it is more transparent, but I think the sound your after, when buying a unit like this is reached when pushing the sound a bit. ![]() |
