Blown ddrum pro trigger - how to fix it?

One base drum trigger is dead, so i removed the small iron thing from the blue sponge thing and the wires . Where to put the red and blue wires?

Thanks

you can get a replacement piezo element from an electronics store or ebay . size doesn matter. cut it to a square with sharp! scissors to about the same size . doesnt have to be perfect just be careful of the 2 wires that are solderd to it. get some clear silicon and re-glue it to the blue sponge foam on one side. you can solder or hand twist the old wires to the new ones. you can use tape or heat shrink tube to cover the wires when your done. red- to red and black to black or sometines its blue to black. if you mix them up or the wires are different colors just reverse the wires. it will cost a couple dollars to fix rather than getting a new trigger or replacement censor.
