RCA's designer drew it up for us. We didn't do the curved surfaces because it was lots more expensive and he didn't think it would make that big of a difference. (Berry Gordy's father was a contractor.) Where we did luck out was the very low noise level. The room had been a photography studio previously. Hence the soft plank floor which was intended for spiking lights and tripods. It turned out to sound great not to mention making it easy to spike drums.

It's worth noting that Abbey Road is also a typical RCA design for when it was built.
