High End conversion w/ AES out-How Do I get into Digital Performer?

I have 2 Emm Labs Meitner 8 channel AD converters (total of 16 channels) and I want to use them with DP 5.0. So this is as far as I have got:

Mics into mic pres-Mic pres into the converter-AES out of the Meitner into??? I need to get this into my Mac where I use DP 5.0. The Meitner only has AES outs...what do I do? I need to make sure that the signal coming out of the Meitners does not get degraded in any way! Please help!!!

Sounds to me like you need the Lynx AES16. If you've got an older Mac with PCI slots you can buy the one that is currently available. However, if you have a newer Mac with the PCIe slots you'll have to wait a little while (word has it around mid-Nov. or so) for the PCIe version of the AES16. It's a 16x16 AES/EBU interface on standard DSUB connections. Just go out of your converter into the card and vice versa and you'll be all set to rock and roll.
