Gearslutz needs a venue for the annual Gearslutz dinner AES 2007!!!

We need venue for Gearslutz dinner AES 2007

Any big studios wanna have 150 engineers drop by for food & drinks?

Or do any GS members have a friend with a restaurant in Manhattan?

Not a million miles from the Javittz Centre?

Probably 100 - 150 people eating and drinking, all paying for themselves individually.

If the atmosphere is cool and the staff are slick we can stick around till midnight and beyond drinking.

Contact me off forum via PM

Thanks

To make things clear, what I am looking for is not so much venue idea suggestions, but a direct hook up with a manager or owner of a restaurant (or big studio that wants a lot of engineers through their doors)

Its hard to get a restaurant to agree to separate checks for everyone and to put us in our own area etc.. But on the plus side for them we will be arriving very early and will totally fill the joint at 7pm. (Also if they get it together with their serving staff, they can sell a lot of drinks.)

Business there for someone that wants it.

Or a PR stunt for a studio that wants it!
