I've been trying to decide....but not having any surround experience I'm wondering if it would be so far over my head as to be a waste of time.
Have you been to one of the earlied conferences? If so, how was the experience?

No, haven't been to one yet. I'm new to surround myself and I'm trying to pick up every bit of info available. The conference is a good place to learn and I L O V E the Sushi at a certain restaurant in LA

Hell no... I've been to LA once this year, and frankly couldn't give a flying **** about surround... now, if they have a "back to mono" conference... color me there.
