| Just Getting Started Hey Guys, I'm starting a new home studio and I had a question as to how I should configure a patch bay. Listed below is my setup. M-Audio Pro Fire Light Bridge (Lightpipe interface, with only lightpipe in's and out's) --> Presonus DigiMAX LT 8-Channel Preamp --> Then for various rack outboard gear I am using... Emperical Labs Distressor Brent Averill 1272 Pre API Lunch Box with various pre's, compressors, etc. (Has 5 pieces of equipment in it). I am wondering how I should configure this with a patch bay. My problem is, once I have everything connected and wired to the patch bay, I'm not sure as to where to run the output that comes from the patch bay to. There are no inputs on the actual interface I am using, and I'm not sure if I were to run the patch bay output to an input on the Presonus preamp - if that would ruin the point of having external preamps for different instruments and sounds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |
