Hi. Today I spent all day with the tech trying to fix a ground problem. We had to do extensive work on the patchbay that had a 2 cards troubled with cold solder points. After I put the patchbay cover back on I noticed that the cover is warped and the sockets don't come through properly preventing the patch cables to make a good connection. Is there a way that I can straighten the cover? It's made out of wood. Is there a way to get a replacement? I think that part of the problem with the patchbay is that since the sockets are not secured properly by the cover this put unnecesary stress on them. Thanks |

| Trytech for parts Or Alan Hyatt
Try Either Trytech audio or ask Alan of PMI (Toft) about parts you may need. Check all of your grounding. In the back of the 80B you will see a copper ground bar. Check all of the connections. And clean everything! I fix everything as soon as there is a problem. Rather then letting a bunch add up and irritate the shit out of me....Be anal about up keep! That way when you create or track other people it goes smoothly......JSL |
