Yes, very briefly. The c is not just a cardiod-only version of the 251. It is a wider cardiod pattern but my guess its that this not all that has been changed. Still a great mic, only the 251 seemed to be a little more present. Might capture a little more midrange detail. Clarence |

Sorry, but that link is not the same company as the new Bock Audio. The website is Bock Audio Designs. It seems they are only manufacturing 3 microphones now: the 251 (formerly ELUX 251), 151 (formerly 251C), and 195. All other lines have been dropped - so sorry, no drum mics  |
