Aurora GTQC versus API 7600 versus Portico 5032 w/5043

Hate to be so new here and post something like this already, but .....

Just got a job for China lasting at least one year and I might need to shrink everything down for the road.

A combination of the above is what I was considering bringing. I would need at least one matched pair for my synth tracks.

I'm currently using API and Portico modules: 2500 & A2D and Portico 5043 & 5012. I also have a KSP8 and a Mini-me for mixdowns.

As you can see, I currently do not have EQ and use what's ITB, so the newer units would address this. I was planning and budgeting to add a 5500, massive passive and portico stereo field editor before the China offer came in.

I have heard good things about the GTQC's NEVE thickness for synths. I was going to worry about this later, but since I'm changing things up, I'm considering addressing it now.

Also,
Any transport tips for a keyboard, Genelec 8030a monitors, dozen mics and the outboard? Should I ship some/all of it via vendor or check it with airline?

I'm just going to charge up a bunch of demo pieces and return what doesn't work for me.

Don't sweat the other nonesense ... I'll consult my travel agent and some of the live sound guys here in the city.
