I am crying... It's that fkg good! Publison, Lexicon, AMS, Eventide, Quantec have all moved to the B-list. Why has no one ever talked about the chorus on this thing? It's great! My sense is that instead of throwing in the kitchen sink, they worked on a few parameters until they were lovely. I really like having a nice selection of gear but if you take the rest away and leave me with this I'll be plenty happy. |

Well... Welcome to the club! We bought every piece that EMT ever manufactured for racking (19" format")... These beasts are the best things that ever happened in audio from my point of view. Keep in mind that we have excellent SSL-based studio in Belgrade. Nothing compares to EMTs. You should consider checking on EMT 156 compressors, 266 Limiters, 444 Delays and 245 or 244 reverbs, too. 252 is their CROWN "multieffect" processor, but beside it, everything is really great! Regards. I wish you thousands of hours of nice playing with your new toy! M

Is the 252 chorus algo the same as in the 251? If it is, I hear you! Superb. Then again, I have yet to use or own a piece of EMT gear that sucks... EMT just rule. Superb gear. the 246 has been my main reverb since the day I got it. |

I read somewhere you have a manual for EMT 156 (service manual, of course). Is it possible getting a copy from you somehow? I'm in Europe, too... Regards. | |

Hahahah... I didn't think, even then, that you'll get me wrong. Matter of tastes. Now... it's not the matter of ego, but I just can not say that. For D&R globally. But, now when I know that we have something in common, I could repeat a million times: EMTs don't suck. Never did, never will! Right? Kidding. Anyway, thanks for the manual. I appreciate it. Cheers. the 252 is absolutely wonderful, blew my mind when I first met it in 1985. The wood-cased remote is so retro... very cool. I believe not many were made.

Would love a 252. Had to sell my 251 recently. Never selling my EMT 246 though. Absolutely love it. |
