I'm thinking of purchasing a SANSAMP pedal to improve my guitar sound both in a live environment and also in studio recording. There are two I'm am looking at the moment; - SANSAMP CLASSIC (most expensive) - SANSAMP GT2 (much cheaper) There are no shops around my area who have the sansamp so I can't test it out which is a pain coz I really want to hear what it sounds like. Has anyone tried it through a mesa boogie amp? does it sound more crunchy or does it kill the sound. I mainly produce and write rock/metal/alternative/punk THRICE/Underoath/RISE AGAINST/FOO FIGTHERS style of music. Any info on these two pedals would be awesome. |

Kurt Cobain used the Sansamp Classic, attached is his actual settings that he used. I have the Sansamp GT2 and owned it for a long time. I just bought a Sansamp original (Classic) on eBay and I'm picking it up tonight from the post office. Will check it out and let you know how the two compare. |
