Eventide H8000FW: what about Mic preamp/Mic?

I'm owning a H8000FW, wich I use in all its possible ways, you can image.

Right know I would like to buy a Mic preamp en mic (studio mic) but I'm not sure about what I'm looking for: am I going to need a overall clean en colorless preamp/mic sound? Or colored, en caractistic sound in, in combi with my H8000FW?

Important note: I would like to use my H8000FW for all its ways, when it comes to vocals: Vocal stereo place options, effects, compressie, limiters, pitchshifting, doubling enz.

Questions:

1. How much is it necessary that my futurtive preamp mic are clean when it comes to overall sounding? Is it necessary that there are some channelstrip possibilitys, color possibilitys? Wich sort of mic/ mic preamp fits the best with my H8000FW and the possibilitys of thgis amazing unit?

2. How much can the H8000FW do, when it comes up to: caractersize the overall mic/mic preamp sound? To chance the overall sounding of a (clean?) mic/mic preamp. Can I let the H8000FW be the: caracter, channelstripper, warm, coloring ''replacer'' of a Mic/mic preamp type?

3. Here some sort keywords for what I'm looking for in the Mic/mic preamp:

Studio mic: Clean, open, bright, largh sound, bit warm, sprankling, good: low, high, mid range: Not (to) much mid, spatial, thick, honest.

I dont like it when the voice/vocal are put (very) much into the front of the mic.

I'm thinking something like a: Neumann,Brauner with the price range like 900-1500 euro's incl. TAX and everything

Mic preamp: Bright, largh sound, open, thick, sprankiling, clean, overall honest sound. When it comes on to color, caracter ????

I'm thinking very much of a Avalon: Price range: 900-1900 euro's.

What options do you advice for me, just with the possibilitys from the H8000FW in the back of your head, when it comes up to: channelstripping, tube, caracter, warm enz ?

So that, when I'm going to test some mics/preamp I can shut down a lot of options and I can get a ''little'' selection of potential candidates finally.

Thanx for your input(s)!

To begin with, I can't 'image' all the possible ways you are using the H8000 if you don't even have a studio preamp and mic!

Nowhere in your post do you mention what kind of work/music you do. So we need to start there, what do you do - electronic music, sound effects, dialog, ?????

All kinds of style: most of it pop(ulair) music.
Creating everything from the beginning, also vocal things.
Working with a computer as the hart en sequencer of the studio.

Wich kind of studio mic/ preamp would give the ''best'' sound en will give me the most options? Both (the mic as preamp) as clean as possible? No color, no tube enz?

Spatial, Thick, and Honest ...that is what my 6th grade teacher said about me during mid-term parent teacher conference.

and you want Low Highs and Mids? I mean seriously you are one tough customer.

I've always thought that getting a mic/mic preamp was probarally the hardest thing to get for a musicstudio. Because of the vairity of options for does two things I've deside to keep it up with a small selection of mark names. Like: Neumann,Brauner (maybe Rode) and Avalon or something like that.
