I need new tubes?

What would sound the greatest in my pendulum audio quartet? It uses 12AX7A.

how 'bout the tubes that are in there already? it's a super-fine sounding box, and they definitely did not spare many (if any) expenses to get it to sound the way they did. they chose all of the components for a reason, tubes included.

if you're not pleased with the sound, it's probably got nothing to do with what tubes are in the box.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Manufacturers cannot put quiality tubes in large production runs of gear because they need consistency. Quality tubes (vintage NewOldStock) aren't available in large batches anymore, thus every unit would sound different. Plus, screening them is a tremendous ordeal. Modern tubes aren't anything near as good as vintage ones and EVERY piece of geat can benefit from a good re-tube.

PM me and let me know what kind of tone you want out of it. I've sold tubes to dozens of guys here on gearslutz and I test my tubes in proaudio gear so I can tell you exactly how they'll sound. I don't sell modern junk though. Vintage/NOS only.
