Ladies and Gentleman... The first SSL Duality in Latin America!

Hi everyone, I just want to share with all the GS members that after 3 months of wait I finally got my Duality installed and running!!
I'm so happy, the console is amazing, tons of posibilities and it is a great tool for sound shaping.
Thanks to George Horton, Phill Scholes, Linda Shwartz and everyone at SSL for make this possible.

All the Best.

Congrats Armando!!

Looks great in your room ...hit me up if you run into any problems.

I guess it was a matter of time before you were nominated for the "Gearslut of the decade" award

thanks syra, I forgot to thank you, because you gave me access to my first listen on a Duality.
I'm gonna take your word, because since I came from a euphonix platform, I found a bit different ssl automation, but I'm learning!

all the best.

There's a nice big topic about Armando's gear and the work he does. Check it out:

I must admit I'm a gearslut II

Congrats on the new console!

It was a great achievement to put the console in Mexico, customs here are everything but friendly, SSL made an amazing effort to make this posible.
I'm blessed.

Best regards.

That last photo would have to take the award for "Most Slutiest Picture" ever on GS!

I'd call it a "Wall of Plugins" - I bet you cannot run that many plugins in Protools no matter how much DSP you had! Thank God for analogue.

Congrats!!

You are right Tim, thanks god for analogue!!!

I am making some tests to my Duality and it is amazing the integration with my DAW, I'm so happy, the buss compressor sounds amazing, I have an old G384 and I don't know why the built in compressor on my duality sounds better also, I believed that Duality used P+G faders but when Phil install the console, he showed me the faders and to my surprise they re not P+G, they are robust, also they feel so smooth, they are so fast!!

I'm in love with this beast!

Best regards.

Wow, what a cool thing to happen, congats Armando!

Happy Recording and mixing!

How are you finding the duality of it? By that I mean the two flavors / color tones each channels offers as switchable options...

Doesnt it have

Two eq flavors?
Two mic pre flavors?
Two controlers one for audio one for DAW

Thats why they called it Duality

All hail the king!

Of all the rooms I've ever stepped foot in, I've never seen anything even remotely close.

Guess I need to do an album in Mexico now...
