I would guess so too, pero seria bueno igual...

you have worked on some of my favorites records (some I even use as references when I mix) and I would think that GS has a good size of Engineers and producer from Latin America and alot of people would benefit from it (because I would propuse to keep it in english) and maybe not a formal Q&A but it could be a special month thing.

I believe alot of people would like it....Just an Idea (wink, wink Jules..... )

Anyway...Felicitaciones d nuevo.

Adrian

You're damn right! Great idea! You definitively have my vote.

Just to add something: I play in a band on weekends (weddings, bars, etc.) and many of the songs that we play are by bands produced by Armando, and we play those songs because they're on the radio all the time, literally! If you turn the radio I'm sure that I'd take less than 4 minutes before a song produced by Armando comes out. And not just that, I'd probably be followed by another artist produced by him, be it Belinda, La 5ta Estación, Moderatto, RBD, Allison, Alek Syntek, etc. etc. etc. By the way I'd like to add that we play MANY songs of the many different artists that Armando produces and not just my band, every coverband that I know does the same, you gotta play'em, it's almost an obligation because that's what's hot! He's THE man.

I could go on and on hahaha and just to rap it up, it sure is a great idea, hell yeah!!!

Hi Armando how is the Duality doing??

Regarding Armando's Q&A...That would be very cool.....but I think the situation is that most of the members here are not familiar with Latin Albums.. as Latins are familiar with Anglo albums....
what I think would be cool and more possible is to discuss more about the gear that Armando uses (that actually he having so many wonderful gear he can really answer alot of gear related questions and comparisons too!) .

Also Armando can tell us how he uses his gear and his approach to get his sound or different techniques that are his favs...of course if Armando accepts this idea....so basicly we can just have a thread about Armando...anyway is the same as a Q&A.

Eso si..que sea en ingles para no violar GS .

You are rigth Amiel, there are people that are not familiar with his work, but that doesn't take away what it can be learn from people like him.....with tons of grammys nominations, now the billboards awards...

plus it takes a chance to expose a different face of latin music (besides the Reggeaton, Shakira, Ricky Martin, etc...BTW nothing wrong with them) but there are great band and artists like Alek syntek, Jumbo, etc that have done amazing sounding album (so lyrics are not an issue...at least to me)...and at the end that what matters

that why I sugested to make it like maybe as an Month special or something for Latin Music, that how the Hip-hop, the Australian and I think even the mastering part of the forum started and brings more knowladge to be share here (never a bad thing).

Once again is just an idea that I think it could work...and just bring something new to GS.

Cheers
