Pearlman K67 capsule users?

Anyone using Pearlman's with the new capsules? Any comments? Considering changing my Peluso capsules in my Pearlmans for the Neumann K67 capsules. I have a pair of Pearlmans (with ef86 tubes and Peluso capsules) so this is a serious purchase decision.

THANKS,
AB

Are you talking about the re-skinned Neumann capsules that Dave can put in by request? They are considerably more money than the Peluso capsule, and I would wager a tad brighter.

I may on occasion talk about some of the products I am a dealer for in my posts.. and that's OK! I sell them because I like them. Not vice versa. It's more fun to talk about things you know and love, then things you don't.

Yes. That is what I am speaking about. Trying to decide if the change is worth it. Dave indicates that it is smoother and better bass.

Curious if anyone else is useing the k67s on the Pearlman and their reaction.
THANKS.

I don't know if it helps but i own a vintage u47 with m7 pvc and vf14 tube, Andreas grosser let me try a u47 head with an original k67 inside the result in an amzing mic like u67 on heavy drugs I bought it...
I still mainly use the m7 but the 67 head let me have a all new mic which is more open and even bigger sounding.
remember just that in a u67 the k67 capsule is going through an amp which filter it a bit, these filter don't exist in a u47 or a like therefore (i think) is the over sized sound.

Pearlman TM-1 with Neumann Capsule

Actually the TM-1 with the K67 capsule is no more bright than with the Peluso capsule; there is a bit more low end 'bump' as well. dp

I am going for the upgrade on both mics. It was a tough decision because the mics are so great as they are. But I trust Dave.
