Fearn asymmetrical issue

I had saw a thread about the VT2 and asymmetrical .wav files. I was using a Phantom AE with a Fearn today and had the same issue. So on a whim I switched it to the Low Z impedance mode and bam! every looked and more importantly sounded much better. This was especially noticeable in the low end which was like night and day. It was a drum kit room mic and the one not on Low Z the kick sounded really mushy. With Low Z selected the kick became solid as a rock.

Just thought I would let anyone know!

...not surprised it sounds better...those waveform charts are like a little graph of your ideal speaker excursion. On bass tones you'd certainly want symmetrical excursion!
