I like some of the magic in the vintage ones. Rev c or rev d, I never can remember. Not worth my money though, the MC77's are the heat for my $. They sound as good in their own way with more flexibility.

Purple is the best 1176 deal out there, great $:performance ratio.

All original 1176 sound different from one another.
The original 1176, the 1176ln and the purple all sound different but all sound great !
