What line isolation transformers do you use use for unbalanced sources?

Who makes the good ones. Can I get good one's that won't affect the signal?

No hijack intended 'fross' and I hope you don't mind me asking... but while we're on the subject, could you or someone explain exactly what Line Isolation Transformers do and where/when you would be likely to use them in the studio? Thanks!

Isolation transformers are used to solve grounding problems caused by incompetent audio equipment design.

I use Jensen packaged by Black Audio and NEVER leave home without them!

Hey Bob, I took a quick look at those puppies. They're $85 ea. I assume they're worth it? Any other suggestions?

While we're added, how am I suppose to take grounds from the shield to chassis, when the jacks are covered by metal jackets and shrink wrap.

Just doing some much needed tweaking with ground loops, buzz etc. I'm open for suggestions.
