| Lives for gear | I tried to think about that post for about 30 seconds, then blood started shooting out of my nose. That was 'grandmother crawling up your leg with a knife between her teeth' weird.

| So....uh....back to the tape thing if no one minds. Anyone have any experience using RMGI SM911 on an Otari MTR90mkII? |

| Lives for gear | I like cake. The best version of Unix is OSX. That being said... IF RMGI is the only new tape available, what debate could there be? It probably works better than other available new tape options.

| Lives for gear | Yeah, cereal is good. You really need both. Maybe that should be a separate thread comparing the two. God is dead. We're still working on Linux.

| Tape is being made by RMGI. You can try US DataMedia for ordering. There are some audio apps for Linux, and a PT killer can one day be reality, but for now - PC or MAC is still the best platform for Audio. And thats coming from a Linux dude (been a diehard since day one). So what will the Linux version of PT be? Gno-Tools ? That would rule! ( a linux PT Hardware driver, niiiiice ! ) |

| Yeah, but Hitler was gay. Not that there's anything WRONG with that. I must have at least one brown shirt in my drawers. Didn't the Nazis have some group called "The Brownshirts" ?? Oh sh&t ... gotta go ... a capstan busted and there's tape all over the floor. |
