Bricasti vs. Eventide 2016

Do any of you slutz who saw the Bricasti at NAMM have any comparisons of the Bricasti with the 2016? I'm interested in the sound comparison and the ease of use/programming/tweaking comparison.

much thanks

Each is easy to use. But the sound? Totally different. The 2016 is an effect verb and stands out, the M7 is natural and blends.

2016 is different breed reverb than ultra modern, clean and hi-fi Bricasti.
More vintage style, thick and coloured, but excellent for some applications.
Both rule.

I have the 2016 and love it. Wish I had a Bricasti. The Eventide sounds great no matter what you dial up with it, but it isn't for everything. Also check out the ursa major space station sst-206. I heard they were going to be discontinued, so you might want to grab one now before production ends.

Here is a video I love with it on an Oberheim 2 Voice:

thanks for the responses 2 years ago, when i made the asked this original question, i was just taking my first steps out of the box. in my slowly building project studio, i've been adding piece by piece as budget allows.

i picked up a used 2016 about 6 months ago and it has been in constant use since. its a liberating experience to have a quality hardware reverb on a physical aux send fader. i think the physical response of the fader send has been as important as the quality of the reverb for me in getting better results.

could never feel good/natural results from my ITB reverb efforts to that point. my ITB skills never resulted in reverb that wasn't effect-y. 2016 is a whole other kettle of fish. learning as i go.
