Isn't there someone around out there making plates now? I know that I saw a thread here on GS a year or so back and I remember asking the same question before "isn't someone making plates now" and another GS member pointed me to the thread. Seemed like a quality inexpensive solution at the time…. but who knows.

EMT 240???

There is another EMT that I have used that I am curious if any of you are familiar with. Tree Sound in Atlanta has one (though it's not listed in their equipment for Studio A).

I can't remember the model number of it off hand, but from what browsing I've done, I think that it's an EMT 240. It's in a MUCH smaller case than the 140; probably 4ft x 3ft. It sounded fantastic and it's a more manageable size than a 140 (not to take anything away from the power and the glory that IS the 140.
