Avalon U5 for plug n' play, as it has EQ presets

Millennia Media TD-1: tube/solid state voicings, 2 band Niquist parametric EQ, built in reamp outputs, mic level DI outputs, line level DI outputs. also has an H3 mic pre built in.

I use a Countryman DI mostly with a Neve pre and sometimes an LA-2A at the end.

I like the Countryman better then most direct inputs on pre's

A Telefunken V72 is my favorite ,but I don't have one on regular basis.

Great River ME-1NV. Sometimes put Radial in front, but mostly not, as I like the GR's input (DI) transformer.

If you have a great bass and a very good bass player a Radial JDi will blow you away!

U5 is a staple at many sessions I do and if you want a real one box solution to an "overly dynamic" player grab a Aphex Punch Factory!

I thought the Evil Twin was the tops with everything else fighting it out for second (SansAmp/API DI/ MP2NV DI/ etc).
