| Vocal Chain. Hello, Is anyone fermiliar with barbara streisand's vocal chain? I read once that she uses M49s and Elam 251s. I don't know abou the pre though. She has a great vocal tone on her Broadway and Back to Broadway albums. |

| i could be totally wrong, but i think (at least live) she uses Millenia Media preamplifiers. http://www.mil-media.com/docs/news/streisand.shtml someone correct me if i am off base here.... cheers, ~j.d.

| I know for years she was using a particular M49 from Design FX rentals, and I believe she still uses it. When I worked with, her I remember a GML EQ, but I don't remember the mic pre. I'm sure Dave Reitzas is lurking and can fill you in on the latest and greatest. Steve |
