Thought I start a useless but fun "Top 10 Sexiest Consoles ever made" thread. I am a true
console fetishist

Here's my top 3:

1) Euphonix System 5

2) SSL Axiom MT

3) Neve VXS

Yeah, I think a top 3 would be more realistic.
And are you going on sound or looks?
I probably wouldn't place many modern, digital desks in the top 3 for sound.

My list in no particular order:
1970's Helios (Rainbow Studios model?)
1970's Cadac (Wessex Studios model?)
1970's Api (a 1604 would be nice to own).

Of course a couple of the classic Neve desks that reside around the world would probably trump my top 3.

I definitely like the way my System 5 looks. Especially when all the lights are on and meters are moving.

Also the SSL C200 is a good looking console to me. I have the API Vision as my desktop picture so I would have to say I like the way that one looks.

Focusrite
Trident 70 (looks so nice and old school!)
Helios
Trident B
EMI

This Philips console intrigues me

MCI JH600 (mine and it's cool because it used to be Kraftwerks

)

Then obviously a nice NEVE and API...
