| Tesla - Acoustic Guitar Sound Two songs that have been blowing me away lately are Tesla's "What You Give" and "Love Song". I love the production on these songs, the tones, the whole nine yards! Anyone know how they got that acoustic guitar sound in the beginning of these songs? It's so up front and detailed, just perfect. To my ears, this is what acoustic guitar on a rock track should sound like. In particular, fellow slutz thoughts on: 1) mics and placement 2) preamps 3) compression 4) eq 5) reverb I get the feeling they may have been sitting around going, how can we get that "Over the Hills and Far Away" sound... -Jaguar |
