| Just got the March 2007 issue of EQ. Check out Page 36, in the "Classical Guitar in the Surround Era" article. The picture is of a classical guitarist, mic'd up with 2 Brauner Phantom C (Cardioid) mics... which happen to be pointing at the floor. Is there something I don't know here? They are spaced out by about a foot or so, it appears... and in the article the author, Matt Harpe, says he set them up in an X-Y configuration (which this is clearly not). Phantom C's are cardiod, side-address mics, correct? Is this just a blatant error, or am I misunderstanding something? Rob |
