I have a pair of the earthworks TC20, and when I playback acoustic guitar that I've recorded with these, it sounds like the performance is taking place right in front of me.

I tend to gravitate toward the km84 for acoustic guitar duties. I also quite like the mercenary km69 too, if the km84's are on other duties. Sometimes I really like the aea r44 on acoustic guitar, mono or stereo. |

for me its either a km54 when i want clean and reaistic, or the u67 if i want some colour and that bob dylan sound. either one works perfect. but i go for the u67 most of the time. its just so perfect for guitar.

I just upgraded from a ksm141 to a matched pair of Peluso cemc6's. I just finished testing them out and could not be happier! They are clear, crisp, warm and detailed through my Great River MP-2NV. Awesome on strumming or picking. For the money, these things are pretty hard to beat.

I love the 4011's on acoustic guitar. Also a big fan of the older C451's and the EB's.. Certainly much cheaper. Pair of KM56's can sound sublime, as can a pair of KM88's. Also a fan of KM84's. A pair of older C414's can sometimes work nicely.. As can a single 67. |
