What are your thoughts to these plans for room treatment?

Hi all,
just curious what you think about the proposed acoutic treatment for these 2 control rooms (both 5.1 surround).
Measurements are in cm, sorry for explanations in german, but I just have the pdfs..
The empty wall in room 2 is mostly windows..

Thanks in advance for having a look!

Sebastian

I couldn't follow what's being shown in the first two PDF files, and the last one is in German. But the basic recommendation to use rock wool is certainly valid. Have a look at this Acoustics FAQ, which I think will help you:

Ethan,

the first 2 pdfs show the 2 control rooms being acoustically treated. It's a 'unfolded' view of the rooms, the center rectangle being the ceiling, the rest the walls.
The 3rd pdf show the construction-details of the absorbers being used.
These are the plans of our acoustic consultant. He's a well respected pro, but I want a 'third opinion' on that design..

Thanks for having a look..

It would really help if the plans were in a conventional architectural layout and overall dimensions were given.

As things stand, I too cannot make head or tail of his plans.

From what I can see, the rooms seem to be perfectly rectangular, which is not be what I would expect for 5.1 work.
