Is there any functional difference between newer and older STC-8 ?

There is an STC-8 available for very good price but manufactured in 1998. I wonder whether there is any functional difference between the present and older units ?

I don't think there is... plus, Dave has a lifetime warranty on his products if you need to send it in.

I bought an older one too, and Dave told me there have been no changes if I remember correctly. Go for it, great company, the gear is bullet proof and musical, I think their gear is fantastic. My STC8 gets used everyday.

If everything goes all right I shall have it soon

But the most incredible thing is that it came immediately after I experienced a disgusting ebay scam on STC-8

I will describe it in another thread ...

Ivo...

Make *sure* you get a sidechain cable made for the STC8, and a cheapie graphic eq to go with it... like a mojo MQ302 or something for the detection circuit. You're going to love it.
