Does the Wunder PA4 Come with a Power Supply?

Does the Wunder Audio PA Four require a black box power supply unit, or does it ship with a power supply?

Yes, it requires a separate Wunder PSU. $300 is a lot for a power supply, but seeing that it can power a small console's worth of Wunder pre's it's not a bad deal at all IMO.

Why can't they make a smaller, lighter one?

That Wunder power supply is really overkill for a single rack unit. I have a four-space preamp rack that I haul around when tracking. It has one open space that I was thinking of putting a PAFour into. But then I'd have to haul around that figgin' boat anchor of a power supply along with the rack. My back just won't take it!

A simple solution is to put a nice chrome bar handle on the top of the Wunder PSU. I use my PSU to power a non-Wunder unit by just changing the pinout of the odd unit.

So has is it?
I ask because I'm debating between it and an Aurora GTQ2 to compliment my API 3124.

LOL! That thing is certainly a boat anchor. You'd think it was powering a Xerox mainframe or something.

I think it's a good deal considering it'll run 32 channels of PA Four.

I like power supplies that aren't wimpy.

Plus, they daisy-chain so each cable doesn't have to go back to the P.S.

Hey, Mark. I gotta catch up with you, probably tomorrow.

Totally! Think of how many PSU's you already have for other brand of preamps. I have at least 6 Chandler PSU's. It would be awesome to run all them off of one. The Wunder PSU makes sense

Hey dillweed. May I ask how much you paid for your PAfour at Alto music? Anybody know where to get one of these for the best price?
