small diaphragm side address microphones

hi all,

just thought i write something after reading this forum from time to time.
i´m into building tube equipment here in austria, participating on some more technical fora around the net.
however, i´m also making & producing music, dealing with equipment on a user-basis - expect some more questions :-)
i feel that i can place side address microfones in a more convenient way, especially at the snare drum. i know of the josephson mic, which seems to have some really good reviews here and elsewhere - do you know of any other good side adress sdc? is there any tube side address sdc that you know of?

In the Schoeps line there are several side adress SDC capsules:

MK4V cardioid
MK41V hypercardioid
MK8 figure eight
MK6 cardioid. omni, figure eight
and several side adress capsules with compensation for proximity effect.

Neumann KM88 omni, cardioid, figure eight (out of production)

Best regards
Hermann

ATM450

I 'just' bought an ATM450 to try on snare. Hopefully I'll get a chance in the next week or so. It looks good....ha!
