Hedd 192 & GAMA 8 for Direct Electric Guitar

In the past I have not be able to get a electric guitar track I liked by going direct. I have liked the mic'd amp sound. I just picked up a Cranesong Hedd 192 and fed it with a GAMA 8 from a direct electric guitar... totally loved it. The processor on the Hedd added a subtle warmth and body to the sound I have not been able to previously achieve with a direct technique. I found this to be a very pleasant surprise because I picked up the Hedd for the sole purpose of strapping it in front of my TASCAM DVRA1000 to print my final stereo mix from an analog console.

Yep, the Hedd really shines when you track through it.
