| anyone seen a nice perma light for back o rack? I've done some searching and still haven't found a clip on type light for the back of my rack that doesn't come with a wall wart. Anyone know of a small gooseneck type light for the back of a rack that can simply plug into an outlet? I'm considering coming up with just such a thing if there isn't something like that already out there. So far, all I've seen are ones with pin connectors for a mixer or else a wall wart ps and I hate wall warts. Do you think there would be much demand for a reasonably priced clamp on style gooseneck light for the backs of racks that just plugs into the power strip?? thanks, Steve |

| I got one at Ikea for around $8, runs on 120v so no wall wart, uses a small 25 watt bulb.

| thanks C. I saw those a few days ago, but the problem with those ones are that unless you have the rack mount hardware on the back of your rack too, those won't work. I didn't see any by them that are made to say, clip on the back of your rack and just plug into the ps without a wallwart. Maybe the people with the super high end racks have the mounting hardware on the back, but I think most of the stuff out there just has it on the front. steve |
