SLAM! question First-- I gotta say this is the most amazing piece of Pro Audio equipment I have ever heard... I'm thinking about getting the SLAM ADDA converters, but I need to know if I can use the AD and the DA section at the same time. For example, can I send two tracks out of the slam DA from my recorder, process them in Analog (Eq etc) and then put them in the SLAM AD, process with the SLAM, and then record from the Slam AES out back into my recorder? Basically use the Slam as an insert, but also stick analog stuff in the Chain?? If yes, then I believe this is the single most amazing piece!! Buddhaman

I asked Manley about this once, and as far as I understand, you can use the AD/DA the way you described it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Magnus

If I was going to use the slam only on my finall mix coming from a digital board into a Hedd-192 intothe Slam. How is this piece for the final mix. ex. instead of using my wave L2 plugin. I would use the slam instead for the analog vibe
