Merry Christmas to all

Hello Slutz

I wish all of you you a happy and healthy Holiday season and may Santa bring you many "High End" toys, err tools.

A special thanx to Jules for running THE coolest forum on the internet and to Meg for keeping it running

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it (our family does) and thank you all for your help and insight in '06. Here's to an even better '07 (raises beer in a silent toast to you all).

Best Regards,

Mike.

Michael, Jules and all others -
Have a very happy holiday,
and a new year filled with prosperity and good health.

Makoto

Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store.
"Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!"

And what happened then...?
Well...in Who-ville they say
That the Grinch's small heart
Grew three sizes that day!
And the minute his heart didn't feel quite so tight,
He whizzed with his load through the bright morning light
And he brought back the toys! And the food for the feast!
And he...

...HE HIMSELF...!
The Grinch carved the roast beast!

An xmas poem for all gearslutz

T'was the night before christmas
and all through the rack
not a disk drive was whirring,
not even a mac
The cables were hung by the Studer with care,
hoping St. Gearslut would soon be there
The clients were gigging, not home in their beds
While visions of fairchilds danced in our heads
When back in the drum room there arose such a clatter
I asked on the talk-back, what was the matter?
I ran to the A room, threw open the door
and standing before me ... the ultimate *****!
And there was St Gearslut, surrounded by foxes
On a sled make of microphones, powered by boxes
noiseless and pricy, like lemmings they came
With slew rates like lightning, he called them by name:
On Hardy! on Rupert! on Mytek! On Wonder!
On Trident! on Manley! "Make 16 Hz thunder!"
"To the top of the spectrum, put stuff in the wire,
Make analog beauty, and musical fire"
And then in a twinkle he walked to the rack,
grounded his body and open his pack,
His fat little body was grissled by years
of pizza and hot dogs too many beers
But out of his back pack came boxes with class
hand wound transformers, and baffles with mass,
preamps with rolloffs, and Jensens, and tubes
That sounded so sexy they could'a been boobs
"Merry Christmas" he said, "you miserable geek",
excuse me a moment, while I take a leak,
And then with a smile, he patted his gut,
and looked kindly upon me, and said "ok you Slut,
"your monitors rock, and your eq is right,
so Merry Christmas to you,
and to all, a good night.

ted.

Please accept, with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious
persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their
choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated
recognition of the of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures
whose contributions to society have helped make America great. This is not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country
nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. This wish is without regard to the race, creed, color, age physical ability, religious faith or sexual
preference of the wishee or wisher.

By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with
no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.

In other words, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
