opinions on the musicman JP100 sterling

hi im lookin for my second guitar i currently own a custom shop strat modded to buggery. now i want something different easy to play and versatile with a solid sound for around the £600 - £800 mark. i was thinking about the jp100 sterling as it looks fantastic the build quality looks better than any other guitar for that price and it has everything i need on it. i was wondering if anyone has owned or played one. opinions?

Very good guitars, regardless of the price.
Asymetrical neck is a like it or hate it thing.
Pickups are quite high output, might be too hot depending on your style of music.
