Anything, because the proceeds just get wasted on mundane stuff like fruit and veg!

Can't think of anything. I sold stuff because I didn't want it anymore. That didn't change after the fact.

Prophet VS Keyboard.

I thought I was going to be picking up the rack version from a friend so I sold my Keyboard to another buddy( It was the prototype Keyboard yup I kid you not. There was a certain amount of jumper wires inside it) .
I moved to LA, then he got ill and went to his sisters and died. R.I.P. Will, I will remember you.
Never knew what happened to his equipment. The Family did something with it.

So I wound up no longer owning a Prophet VS.

Hmm... Mostly no regrets. I guess I wish I still had the 1977 Fender Twin Reverb that I bought new and sold a year later to fund a downpayment on my very first apartment, it was a pristine silverface master volume model that could crush your ribcage without breaking up. And I sort of regret selling the Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro that I let go half a dozen years ago...maybe.

Yeah, mostly no regrets.

1971 Ampeg V4B.

It looked like hell and the caps were old and tired and saggy. The power tubes (7027s from god knows when) were all unmatched. It was dusty and crusty, just how I like 'em. Had the old metal switches that would shock you if you weren't wearing shoes. The saggy caps actually lead to the amp doing AWESOME things for heavier guitar tracks, especially through a run-o-the-mill Marshall 1960 cab.

We hardly ever used it in the studio, and I was favoring a blackface Bassman at the time. I had a need for something brighter and britishy, so I picked up a Vox AC15 and flipped my dear Ampeg. This kid came in to try it, and once he plugged into it and strummed a chord I thought "am I really going to do this?"

He bought it and took it straight to a tech to have it re-capped and re-tubed, so I'm sure it's not the same thing anymore. Even though I get way more use out of the Vox, I feel like an ass for letting that Ampeg go because it had an irreplaceable character. And "character" is my favorite word when mentioning ANY piece of gear.

Where to start.... '64 Strat with OHSC and Vibro-Champ amp, '70 ES-335, mid seventies Orange Hustler 125, '63 Super Reverb. I could keep going, but it's too painful.

I sold a Hiwatt Custom 50 inthe late 80's and replaced it with a Laney AOR 100. I have put my knee out of joint kicking myself in the ass every day since then. I also sold an old Marshall 8x10 cab for $250, not happy about that either. It wasn't loud enough for me...
More recently, due to financial hardship, I sold a Seventh Circle Audio chassis loaded with 4 N72's and 2 A12's. I got a good buck for it, but I really loved those pres. At least I still have my vintage Langevin strips. Man, this thread is killin'me!

My Alesis Quadraverb Plus

There was just something about that unit which was warm and organic and was the perfect partner with JMP-1
